- Meet
at Alpine Helicopters in Golden, BC (directions below)
on January 26th. Meeting time TBA closer to trip date.
Golden is a 3.5-hour drive west of Calgary (the closest
international airport), on the Trans-Canada Hwy.
- Directions
to Alpine Helicopters:
- Turn
south on Hwy. 95 from the Trans-Canada Hwy.
- Continue
south on #95, over bridge, past movie theatre on
left.
- Turn
right onto 9th St. at the only 4-way lights in Golden.
- Drive
to the end of 9th St. and turn right.
- Follow
this road across the train tracks, around a left-hand
bend, and straight to Alpine Helicopters.

- We
recommend you stay in Golden the night prior to your
trip to avoid delays in the morning due to weather
or possible road closures.

Baggage restrictions: 30 lbs per person (not including
skis) – please pack light. Pack gear in two
smaller duffels rather than one large one (fits easier
into helicopter). Ski bags will not be flown into
lodge (reduces bulk in ski basket).
- In
the unlikely event that the helicopter cannot fly
to the lodge on
Saturday, Jan. 26 (due to poor weather), guests are
responsible for their own accommodation and food in
Golden.

- If
you want it, bring it. Beer cans and wine boxes fit
best in the helicopter.

- Trip
price: $1900.00 Cdn plus 6% GST (total = $2014.00
Cdn)
- $1000.00
is due upon booking. Balance is due by November 01,
2007.
- All
payments are refundable prior to November 1st (less
$100.00 administration fee).

All money paid after November 1st is not refundable
unless we are able to re-sell your trip to someone
else. If we fill your spot, all money will be refunded
less $100 administration fee.
- We
recommend you purchase travel insurance through your
local travel agent.
