Advanced Ice Climbing – 2-Day Instructional Course

A technical course focused on ice-screw placement, anchor construction, an introduction to lead climbing and loads of climbing. Participants must be experienced top-rope ice climbers or have completed Mountain Ascents Canada's Learn the
Basics (Ice).

Add a day to the course to include an ascent of a classic multi-pitch ice climb – an ideal way to test your skills. Emphasis will be placed on leading theory, avalanche hazard evaluation and gear placement.
